Newborn visits

All NWPEDS physicians see babies in these three hospitals: Mercy OKC, Integris Baptist and Lakeside Women's hospital.

Upon arrival to deliver your baby please let your nurse know which physician will be your baby's pediatrician. Call the clinic to make newborn visits when discharging from the hospital, 405-755-2230.

Well child checks

What to expect: prevention of illness with immunizations, track growth and development, talk about any concerns, follow up on any health problems.

What appointments to expect to schedule: Newborn visit, 2 week, 2 month, 4 month, 6 month, 9 month, 12 month, 15 month, 18 month, 2 year old, 2.5 year old, 3 year old and yearly after 4 years old.

NWPEDS schedulers will make your baby's 2 week, 2 month, 4 month and 6 month appointments in advance asking your preference of day/time when the Newborn visit is made. This appointment card is given to you at the newborn visit.

Same day sick visits

Call or send portal messages to our triage nurses for same day sick appointments. Please note that we have a new portal request which will allow you to schedule with a triage nurse even before the office opens or during lunch. See website home page and the patient portal for more information

Immunization visits

*Please note that in most cases the child must be current with their well child visit for nurse only visits*

Follow up visits

Depending on your child's medical history, we routinely schedule follow up visits for asthma, ADHD, etc. Please call to schedule, 405-755-2230

Free Prenatal visits for parents

We encourage you to schedule a visit with a provider to meet before delivery, call 405-755-2230

Sports Medicine visits

Please call the office to schedule a visit with Dr. McAllister, concussion, injuries, chronic pain, nutrition/supplement counseling, call 405-755-2230

Prescription

You now have multiple options to refill your child's medications: You can send a portal message, call your regular pharmacy and request the refill or call the office and speak with one of our triage nurses.

Questions or concerns about your child's health during after hours or weekends? Call our nurse triage line and a nurse will help guide you on next steps. 405-330-7566. You can also send a portal message after hours and nursing staff will contact the following morning for a sick visit.
